First Day

First day completed. A full day of orientation activities for Gap, Inc. 1/2 of the 2007 Interns started today and participated in orientation together. While paperwork and policies can often be a boring task in getting started in a new position, the Internship Program team put together an exciting combination of interactive activities to bring the companies values, behaviors and policies into a immersive environment.

I am even more excited to have chosen to work for Gap, Inc. , a real part of Americana. When you see the company you are working for on a daily basis on your morning commute, it is easy to forget just how large the company is and how many people it takes to run an organization such as this.

Tomorrow, is Day 1 with my Old Navy team. Another bus route to learn, including a transfer. As long as I can get there okay, I'm sure it will be another exciting day of meeting a great group of people that share the same professional and personal values.
